Mixed media art pages and cards
I have been studying mixed media collage which often uses a combination of paper images to create a themed message. In this piece, I used stamps and inks to create a ‘book’ of continuous designs. Called “Spring,” this collage combines birds, music and flowers in one of my favorite flower combinations: pink, green and gold.
For this piece, I created a card to give a friend access to a preferred parking area at the office. The note paper is from a resort we visited on a business trip stamped with designs that depict the love of travel accented by the rose and twig theme. The key has a special saying meaningful to my friend. I used stamps, ink, and accessories from the Tim Holtz collection to make this.
