Lavender Roses

Lavender roses were the star of these centerpieces for a baby shower.  The mom and dad opted to be surprised (no gender reveal) so we did not use the pink, blue, yellow pastel theme for this fun event.  Since the mom loves birds, we added a bird and nest to each arrangement . . . Babe orange spray roses, dianthus Green Trick, purple statice and a small daisy like aster completed the design.  Hydrangea and sedum were added from the garden for contrast.

Garden Bouquets

Summer is a bonus . . . flowers are at their peak in the garden in June and July.  Stars this year include Bells of Ireland, daisies, dahlias, and lisianthus.  Perennials are here briefly … delphiniums, butterfly weed, and hydrangeas are just a few.

Eggplant Calla Centerpieces

Centerpieces for the head table and the cake table at a fall wedding are combinations of Vendela roses and dark eggplant callas.  Cedar greens, freesia and lisianthus create the draping style while wax flower is the filler accent.

Purple and Lime Green Centerpieces

Florigene purple carnations and Jade Green roses are the focal point for the centerpieces of a fall November wedding.  Green spider mums, lavender freesia and white wax flower complement the color scheme.  These flowers still looked fresh a week after the wedding!

Roses, roses

Asymmetrical design is a dramatic presentation for the cake or reception table at a wedding.  This one uses roses, stock, hydrangea, wax flower, ruscus, and seeded eucalyptus.

September Bridal Shower

imageThe weather was beautiful when an outdoor bridal shower took place in late September. The bride’s color theme is dark purple with accents of lime green. Timing was perfect to create a centerpiece using a real white pumpkin from the farmer’s market.
