Callas and Roses for the Bridal Party

The color theme for this wedding was purple/marsala accented by lime green and creamy white.   We used deep purple calla lilies, Vendela roses, jade green roses, lavender freesia and wax flower to create these bouquets.

Corsages and Boutonnieres

Corsages and boutonnieres are tailored to the event and especially designed for the wedding party members who will be wearing them.  These designs by Rose and Twig incorporate spray roses, scabiosa buds, ranunculus, calla lilies, and wax flowers … just a few of the many types of flowers that might be used.

Pink and Green Wedding

A pink and green themed wedding with a vintage flair . . . the bride wore a lace dress that had been worn by three generations before her.  The flowers included roses, hydrangeas, ranunculus, gerbera daisies, chamomile and wax flower.

Bridal bouquet also includes astilbe and eucalyptus. Chamomile emphasized the bride’s love for daisies.

Eight Dollar Spring Bouquet

I used to dismiss alstromeria as a “super market” flower sold with unopened, unimpressive blooms.  Now I have a lot of admiration for the flower also known as the Peruvian lily or lily of the Incas.  Given a chance, alstroemeria open to a striking yet delicate bloom and last for more than a week, maybe ten days.  The pink and white blooms here are more than a week old and still look fresh!   If you are looking for an economical way to create a pretty bouquet, be sure to consider alstromeria!

Fiesta Roses

The stars of this centerpiece are pink and cream Fiesta roses surrounded by daisy type mums, alstroemerias and mini carnations accented by silver floral wire.

Pink and Cream

Picked up some Fiesta roses for Valentines arrangements …. A great alternative to the usual red holiday theme.  Included here are lilies, green mini hydrangea, daisy type mums, dianthus and more.

Eggplant Calla Centerpieces

Centerpieces for the head table and the cake table at a fall wedding are combinations of Vendela roses and dark eggplant callas.  Cedar greens, freesia and lisianthus create the draping style while wax flower is the filler accent.

Purple and Lime Green Centerpieces

Florigene purple carnations and Jade Green roses are the focal point for the centerpieces of a fall November wedding.  Green spider mums, lavender freesia and white wax flower complement the color scheme.  These flowers still looked fresh a week after the wedding!

Roses, roses

Asymmetrical design is a dramatic presentation for the cake or reception table at a wedding.  This one uses roses, stock, hydrangea, wax flower, ruscus, and seeded eucalyptus.
